Collection Instructions:

ALQE: Centrifuge lavender-top at high speed for 15 minutes. Transfer plasma into plastic transfer tube. Label with date/time collected,EDTA PLASMA and patient's name.

Storage Transport Instructions:

Custom Instruction: Draw 2 lavender tubes, they must be centrifuged, poured off into transfer tube and label the pour off PLASMA EDTA with patient name. Can be submitted refrigerated or frozen.

Specimen Comment:

PPT's must be submitted refrigerated. Frozen PPT's will be rejected.
The PPT must be received spun within 2 hours of draw to perform tests.
