Dr. Weisberger is a board certified anatomic and clinical pathologist and recognized leader in hematopathology. He oversees all key laboratory operations and quality systems, and maintains BioReference Laboratories as an innovative, quality laboratory where patient care and laboratory safety come first. Dr. Weisberger has a vision to position BioReference as a leader in providing patient-centric, precision-based laboratory results and data analytics for best practice of patient care.
Dr. Weisberger has authored more than 40 publications as abstracts or peer-reviewed journal articles, and is an active educator at the New York Medical College, where he serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology and Medicine. He is a Fellow and Member of the New Jersey House of Delegates for the College of American Pathology, and a Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Pathology. He is also a member of the New Jersey Society of Pathology and Association for Molecular Pathology. Dr. Weisberger was Chief Resident in Pathology at Westchester Medical Center and holds both a B.S. and M.S. from Stanford University, and a M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
Jane Pine Wood is a licensed and practicing attorney who oversees the company’s Legal Department, with a focus on legal and regulatory compliance, corporate governance and corporate ethics. Jane joined BioReference after serving nearly three decades in private practice at McDonald Hopkins, LLC. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, and has received the Association of Pathology Chairs’ Friends of Pathology Award, American Society of Clinical Pathology Patients’ Advocate Award, and is listed among Massachusetts Super Lawyers – Top 50 Female Lawyer Award. She holds her J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law and B.A. in History from Texas A&M University.
John Mooney is a subject matter expert in healthcare data exchange, having shaped standards for HL7 and ONC, and is involved in all aspects of system development, data management and integration at BioReference.
John has over eighteen years of healthcare technology experience with providers, vendors and consultancies, having previously held leadership positions at Reagent and MISYS. John chaired the American Clinical Laboratory Association’s Healthcare Information Technology committee from 2008-2013. He holds a B.S. in Operations and Information Management from the University of Scranton.
Dr. Solomon is a board-certified clinical geneticist who focuses on the use of genetics and genomics to identify, understand and care for patients with both rare and common genetic conditions as well as provides broad applications of genomic medicine. Dr. Solomon believes that through new user-friendly technologies and cutting-edge genetic and genomic solutions, GeneDx and BioReference can find answers for clinicians, patients and families.
In addition to his laboratory, clinical and research leadership and advocacy, Dr. Solomon has authored over 100 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters and textbooks, and is an active lecturer, educator and NIH Guest Researcher. Dr. Solomon holds an MD from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, and completed his residency and fellowship training in pediatrics and clinical genetics at the National Human Genome Research Institute at the National Institute of Health and at Children’s National Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the American College of Genetics and Genomics.
Greg Cahill works to provide innovative HR solutions that create a culture and environment to promote employee engagement, maximize employee potential and establish BioReference as an employer of choice in the healthcare market. Greg has more than 25 years of experience in EHS and HR leadership roles with domestic and global scope, spanning a diversity of industries from Consumer Products to Life Sciences. He previously served as the Americas Head of HR at Kedrion Biopharma and the Global Head of HR at KEDPlasma; he has also held HR leadership roles at: Shionogi, PAR/Strativa, Verispan and Aventis. Greg holds a B.S. in Marketing from St. Peters University.
Kevin Feeley is a Certified Public Accountant who is responsible for the overall management and oversight of the accounting and finance functions at BioReference. Prior to joining BioReference, Kevin served at US Controller RB, a UK-based consumer packaged goods company, and led SEC reporting at Valeant Pharmaceuticals. Kevin spent 12 years at KPMG with a focus in the pharmaceutical industry, having served large global public companies. He is a member of The American Institute of CPAs and holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from James Madison University.
