Collection Instructions:
ALQC: Collect full blue-top (citrated) tube. Centrifuge Blue-top at high speed for 15 minutes. Transfer plasma into plastic transfer tube. Label with date/time collected, PLASMA and patient's name.

Custom Instruction: Collect full blue-top (citrated) tube. Centrifuge Blue-top at high speed for 15 minutes. Transfer plasma into plastic transfer tube. Label with date/time collected, PLASMA, patient's name and freeze.

This test should only be performed on patients taking LMWH only. Refer to other heparin test codes if patient is taking any other heparin medication.
