ALQE is the required specimen for K943 to reflex to genotype and NS3/NS5 if all criteria is met. The NS3/NS5 assay cannot be performed from an SST tube.
K943 should be ordered by itself and not with test code 8784 Hep C RNA or 2161 Hep C Genotype in order for the reflex to occur.
TAT with reflex is 15 days.
